Wire framing

We are used to working on the design complex systems. Because of our artistic background we can either create a wireframe using hand sketched storyboards or sliced fireworks html files. Being able to hand code means we understand the disadvantages of investing alot of time in creating large websites using slices.

Web architecture

Having worked on the design of casinos and hospitals we design a website around a clear architectural layout, which should help to enhance the user experience by being quick and efficient and when appropriate, engaging.

User interface

User interface is the interaction between the user and an object. An event initiated by the user has to have a payoff which must always try to satisfy the expectations of the user. The most basic of interfaces is that of man with his most primative tools serving is primal needs.

User experience

Casinos lead the way in cutting edge user experience. Its what Las Vegas is built around. There are no windows or clocks, the machines are largely purple, the air is conditioned and parfumed, the themes are of exotic holiday destinations, the swimming pools are refrigerated. You can swim but not for too long. Every subtle change is monitored by the performance of each slot machine.

Search engine optimalization

As of 2013 google dominates the search engine rankings. With the launch of google analytics and the google plus button they are set to challenge facebook. Rumours abound that the Panda ranking algorithm will positively rank google plus ratings to gain inroads on facebook. White hat techniques are good clean architecture with varied quality content.

Social media

Subdomain and blogs are rated highly by google search engines. Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla all help promote the corporate blog, accountability without responsibility. The world of the microblog tweet or private facebook blog pretain to be social media. In reality companies are just harvesting information target marketing at you. This will become as irritating as call centre marketing in the future.
